4.40 Wolverhampton

Goodwood maiden winner who contested Listed races at York and Chantilly for trainer John Quinn. Lost his way since but ran his best race in a long time when only beat four lengths at Lingfield this month. Makes tapeta debut from a career low mark and can surely win a race off this mark of 55.

5.45 Wolverhampton

Rhys Clutterbuck is huge value for his seven pound claim at present so is an interesting booking on this horse. Wasn’t seen at his best at Southwell last time out but is a course winner and was runner-up from this mark over track and trip earlier this month. Effectively 7lb lower here taking the jockey’s claim into account.

6.45 Wolverhampton

Adam Kirby has never ridden this horse before so his appointment could be significant given the rich vein of form he is in. This horse has only won once from 26 starts on the flat but is a course and distance winner. He should arrive here flying fit off the back of a run at Lingfield last week.

8.15 Wolverhampton

Usually a very unreliable type but at the prices he had to be worth a play for a place. The 6-year-old drops down into Class 5 company after a poor run in a better class race here when last seen. That was just his first start on the all-weather so might have just needed it and he is very well treated now.
