Gladbach v Wolfsburg

Both of these teams boast plenty of attacking talent which should make for an entertaining game. Wolfsburg are likely to play like the home side and dictate possession, which should suit a Gladbach team who are known for their counter attacking prowess. Wolfsburg have managed a goal in three out of their last four away games, and with the quality they’ve got going forward, you’d have to fancy them to score today. Gladbach have scored 6 and conceded 6 in their last four competitive matches at home. All in all BTTS looks a likely outcome in this one.

Dumbarton v Livingston

These two teams are currently near the foot of the table, and that is in no small part down to the simple fact that they both leak goals. Dumbarton have conceded 11 from their first 6, while Livingstone have conceded 15! Although neither team has scored too frequently, it is likely that both sides will see this as a winnable game having looked at the others defence and thus BTTS should be on the cards.

Colchester v Bury

If you want goals at both ends, Colchester have been the go to side in League one this season. They’ve scored 12 and conceded 7 in their last 5 games. They did manage to keep a clean sheet in midweek, but it is hard to see them making it two in a row as they face a Bury side who’ve managed to score 12 goals in their last 5 away games. These two sides are among the highest scorers in League so far, and BTTS looks a good bet here.

Leeds v Birmingham

Both of these teams have enjoyed a somewhat indifferent start to the season, as neither have really been able to find their stride. On this basis you’d have to feel that both will see this a winnable game. Leeds have conceded in each of their 4 home games this season and have only failed to score in one. Birmingham on the other hand have generally looked good for a goal this season, having managed to score 8 goals on the road. They’ve conceded in all but one of their 4 away games though, and look far from sturdy at the back. In truth, both sides look equally capable of scoring and conceding here.

Bristol City v Milton Keynes

24th vs 23rd in the table. The bottom two sides meet here and this one looks to have BTTS written all over it. Bristol City have conceded 19 goals so far this season while MK dons have shipped 13. Neither have found it that easy to score; however, given the poor defensive record of both, coupled with the fact that this one is likely to be viewed as a winnable game, goals look very much on the cards.

QPR v Bolton

Bolton are currently bottom of the away table in the Championship, having conceded 8 goals and scored just 1. However, they face a QPR side here, who, although find it easy to score, have also found it pretty easy to concede. (9 for 8 against at home). QPR will undoubtedly look to dominate this game and you’d be surprised if they failed to score themselves. Bolton on the other hand, while likely to have their defensive work cut out, should find plenty of opportunities to score on the counter against a side who haven’t looked great at the back. You expect QPR to score certainly, but Bolton should not be disregarded and can easily get a goal here too.
