Barcelona v Bayer Leverkusen
When Barcelona play at home they are always likely to find the net at least once and tonight looks no exception. Having scored eight in their last four home games, you’d be very disappointed if they failed to find score in this one. On the other hand, Leverkusen also look a good bet to score tonight, they have plenty of attacking talent in their ranks and are fresh off the back of a 3-0 away win in the league. Barcelona are likely to press high up the pitch, and on this basis there should be more than a few counter attacking opportunities for the away side to capitalise on.
Colchester v Bradford
Where Colchester have been concerned this season, there have generally been goals at both ends. Given that they have scored and conceded in each of their last five games you wouldn’t bet against it tonight. Baring a 0-0 draw away at Barnsley, Bradford have scored and conceded in four of their last five away games and given they are playing a side tonight who’ve conceded 17 goals in nine games, goals should be on the cards once more.
Peterborough v Bury
Another one which looks to have BTTS written all over it. So expect this one to be 0-0! In all seriousness though, both of these sides have shown they can score goals. Bury have notched 17 so far, while Peterborough have managed 14. Both have conceded 13. Equally promising is the fact that Peterborough have both scored and conceded in each of their last five homes games, while Bury have scored in each of their last five and conceded in four of them.
Burton v Sheffield United
Burton have started the League season best of all and currently sit top of the table. They have however, shown a tendency to let in goals. Conceding in four of their last five home games. Sheffield United have also made a pretty good start to the season but are another side who have seen plenty of goals go in at both ends. They have scored and conceded in each of their last five domestic games, totalling ten goals for and ten against!
Wimbledon v Northampton
Both of these side look relatively evenly matched, which in terms of BTTS bets, isn’t necessarily always a good thing. However, they have both found it easy to concede so far this season and there seems no reason why this should be any different tonight. Wimbledon have conceded in each of their last five homes games, letting in a total of nine goals (scoring seven). Similarly Northampton have both conceded and scored in four of their last five away games, mirroring their opposition’s total of seven goals scored and nine conceded. Of the games on offer tonight, this looks one of the more likely for BTTS.
