7.06pm Crayford Race Preview 15/12/2017

Greyhound Syndicate

Three runners on a busy Friday night at Crayford for the myracing.com greyhound syndicate. They kick off with the return from injury of Droopys Nuka from almost two months off the track. Our greyhound tips will be up before 6.00pm tonight, before that let’s take a look at Nuka’s race tonight.

7.06pm Crayford 15/12/2017 A5 Grade

Ballyanna – Found a lot of trouble in her two races over this trip, swiftly stepped up to six bends where she was successful. Doesn’t have the early pace to be a threat so will need plenty of luck in running to come from behind.

Leamaneigh Greta – Things have really clicked with her of late, winning bottom grade on the 31st of Octboer, she has won A7 and A6 since. 16/1 was her price in the grade below last time where she produced a career best. That needs to be taken with a pinch of salt higher still.

Galtee Harry – Got in trouble in both runs in the summer, he has been given time to find his feet, winning three on the bounce since his return. His trapping has improved but up another level means he needs more than his 24.04 best to keep winning.

Newmarket Cleo – Made it as high as A2 at Romford in the summer, she has not recaptured that level yet at Crayford. Wasn’t beaten far in this grade last week, she needs to be on her toes at lid rise but is dangerous if taking a prominent position early.

There She Blows – Had a busy autumn, she is the third in the field to have picked up the A8, A7 and A6 trifecta in recent weeks. She has a couple of decent sectionals to her credit and will need one if she is to get the best of these.

Droopys Nuka – Our first winner as a syndicate, she lost her trapping boots when last seen but was subsequently found to have a little niggle. She is entitled to need the blow out at race pace, but this is a weak enough A5 for her to be given a solid chance.

Conclusion

This wouldn’t be the strongest A5 ever run so from stripes Nuka must have a shout providing the first run back from an injury doesn’t have her too far adrift of her best. Three of her rivals were in A8 not so long ago and one needs further. That leaves the 4 as the big danger, a bitch that should be closer to top grade given her Romford exploits but she has not quite taken to Crayford in the same way yet. Fingers crossed she takes at least one more run to adapt!
