47/1 Double Delight!

Each Way Double Winner Hurdle

We have firmly hit the ground running in October here at myracing with a brilliant 47/1 Each Way Double winner on Wednesday! It’s come at the perfect time as we prepare for a huge weekend in the racing calendar as Enable goes for a historic third successive Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at ParisLongchamp on Sunday!

How Did We Do It?

LEG #1 – (JEMBUG DRUMMER – 8/1) – Having run respectably without landing a blow in three runs at the beginning of the year, Tim Vaughan’s charge seemed to really appreciate the soft ground at Bangor-on-Dee. Driven to make his challenge at the penultimate flight, he readily drew clear under Alan Johns to record his maiden win by an easy 12-lengths!

LEG #2 – (BRIGADIER BOB – 9/1) – It was a fortunate success for the second leg of our double, as Brigadier Bob’s main rival (who was still going well out in front) Alexander The Grey, crashed out through the wings of the second last fence. Thankfully fine, the incident all but handed the race to our selection who had enough left in the tank to repel the late challenge of Schnabel!
