How We Landed The 42/1 Double

Leg 1 – Definitly Red @ 7/1 – Definitly Red came into the race on the back of an excellent victory at Aintree last time out. In a competitive looking field we felt he had another excellent chance and is so it proved correct. Prominent throughout the race, Danny Cook asked him to go and win the race three fences from home and he stormed up the Cheltenham Hill to run out a cosy eight-length victor.

Leg 2 – Agrapart @ 9/1 – The Nick Williams trained Agrapart had put in an eye-catching run last time out when running on late in the day over 2 miles and 4 furlongs. The step up in trip in the Cleeve Hurdle looked ideal and we were confident of a big run as we hunted down the ITV Double. Given a beautiful ride by Lizzie Kelly, Agrapart came in to contention two obstacles from home, staying on well up the Cheltenham Hill to seal victory and to land our 42/1 ITV Double – Absolute scenes!
