4 Outsiders Who Could Make You Rich This Weekend

Newbury Racecourse

With no less than eight race meetings on a bumper Saturday, we’re going to be treated to another brilliant day of action. All seven races on terrestrial television are covered in our ITV Racing Tips, but with so much action elsewhere, we’ve gone through and picked out four horses who could maximise your returns this weekend!

Its The Only Way – 3.35 Newbury – Best Priced 14/1

The best way to kick off our list is with a runner from the ITV action, with our Super Sprint Tips leading us to Richard Hannon’s Its The Only Way. The yard won this race in 2014 and has trained the second on four other occasions in the past five renewals. This son of Lilbourne Lad comes out favourably on these terms and he looks sure to be suited by a brisk five furlongs, as he was a good second behind an improver over six furlongs last time (going on at the finish).

Fit For Function – 3.45 Curragh – Best Priced 16/1

Joseph Murphy’s charge arrives here in great form, producing an eye-catching effort when finishing second at this venue last month. He had a nightmare run that day and flew home, with today’s big-field scenario likely to suit his style. He has the services of Niall McCullagh and should run a big race.

Appointed – 4.05 Ripon – Best Priced 12/1

Tim Easterby’s four-year-old has been holding her form extremely well of late without scoring, now falling four pounds below her last winning mark. She’s been hinting that she needs further than 1m 2f on recent starts and she gets an extra two furlongs here, with a previous fifth at last year’s Shergar Cup strengthening her case of staying. Rachel Richardson takes over and she has been riding brilliantly of late, with the yard form another positive to enhance this four-year-old’s chances.

Arctic Flower – 8.45 Lingfield – Best Priced 18/1

One for our Preview Tips, John Bridger’s charge is a multiple course winner who has struggled for form this campaign. She’s now fallen five pounds below her last winning mark and given she completed a four-timer at this venue last year, she clearly loves it at Lingfield. Hollie Doyle is riding well at present and a chance is taken on this five-year-old returning to her best.
