4.18pm Crayford Race Preview 28/09/2017

Fresh off a well backed win on Saturday night, it’s quickly nose back to the grindstone for Droopys Nuka and the myracing.com syndicate. Our greyhound tips will be live between 5-6pm this evening, looking to close out the last couple of days of September in style, over £1,000 in profit so far this month. Read on for our predictions and analysis for Nuka’s A4 race.

4.18pm Crayford 28th September A4 Grade

Errill Ginger – 0/7 in this grade since arriving from Sunderland, he has a 3/5 record in the lower A5 class which seems fairly obvious where he wants to be before he is a viable bet. He doesn’t boast any great early pace and with a best time of just 23.90, he would need plenty of trouble in front for him to score.

Galtee Malone – A winner in this grade in early August, he was sent off favourite twice in a higher grade since. He is only a pup so better should be in the tank, but he has struggled with consistency from the traps. He gave notice of his ability when clocking a 23.64 in his aforementioned win at this level, big player if reproducing that.

Franco Lola – Pup has been seen only the once so far in her career, dead heating in an A5 event on the 19th. She showed plenty of promise in her trials and is still too close to her season date to be seen to absolute best effect, but she stays this trip well and with a 23.82 on her card already, she demands respect.

Fast Pixie – A fellow Kelva Kennels inmate, she has yet to run over this trip here, starting straight over the 540m trip when arriving from Ireland. On her form in both places, this looks to be just a pipe opener to blow away the cobwebs before being stepped back up in trip. She has a little early but probably not enough to turn front rank.

Droopys Nuka – Fluent winner of an A5 on Saturday night, she wasn’t winning out of turn. She has been runner-up four times in six starts in this grade so she is far from out of her depth, though the draw in 5 will always have those slight concerns. She comes away better when clad in stripes, but doesn’t have bundles of early either side.

From Thurles – A wide margin winner in A5 earlier in the month, she hasn’t had the same success when stepped up to this class. She has solid enough early pace and with Nuka in 5, she might turn handy. She has placed form in this grade in the past, she might be another who will be in the mix for the places.

Conclusion

Not the toughest A4, with Nuka already having filled the runner-up spot on four occasions in this grade, she should give another good account, though the draw in 5 never looks ideal. Both 2 and 3 are pups with plenty of potential for the future and whichever gets first run on the inside will be bang there, with the chance of the 6 increasing if she can out trap Nuka and lead at the first bend.
