Who Won For Us?

Leg #1 Spider Web (10/1) – Well backed before the off, the gelding made very light work of the 19 runner field. He raced in mid-division in the early parts of the race before making a move 3 out. He was always going well from there and after the last he took the lead in the straight. Eventually he ran out an impressive 7 & 1/2 length winner in the JP McManus silks – GREAT START to the day for us!

Leg #2 The Ballyboys (6/1) – Sent off at 4/1 to go and land us the double, he made us sweat at the finish a bit but got us the job done! Jonathan Burke was motionless on him coming round the home turn whilst others were being scrubbed away at & he managed to kick on and have a serious advantage after the last. Silver Planeur back in 2nd made some late ground to make the winning distance only half a length, but The Ballyboys always looked to have it in the bag – BOOOOOOOOMM!
