On the opening day of the Punchestown Festival we certainly followed our trend of big priced winners in April with a HUGE 33/1 tip landing the second race of the week! Our Single selection tips this month have seen winners at massive prices such as a 33/1 Early Value Tip, 40/1, 25/1 and 18/1 Singles and Preview Tip winners at 33/1, 20/1, 16/1, 16/1, 14/1 and more! Who Won For Us?

DRACONIEN 4.20pm Punchestown – Draconien is a name that has been bandied around myracing towers since unseating his rider last month at Navan. Having kept an eye on him on his next outing at Fairyhouse we were majorly impressed with the way that he finished that day against stablemate Getabird. We thought the better ground might see him in an even better light and told followers as much in our online analysis and were bang on the money!
After being settled in rear early on Willie Mullins’ 5 year old travelled nicely until around five out where the he looked like he wanted to go on and Noel Fehily duly obliged. Coming to the final three hurdles he started to make his challenge on the trio in front and, challenging between horses, led over the last before being ridden out to score comfortably with seemingly plenty in hand! Mullins gets a step closer to Gordon Elliott for the Irish Trainers title and we land another smashing price winner this month!
