3 Outsiders Who Could Make You Rich This Weekend

Ascot Racecourse

We have another cracking day of action in store on Saturday, with the Shergar Cup headlining the day at Ascot. It certainly divides opinion, but it’s an interesting days racing that features some of the best jockeys the world has to offer. You can view our Shergar Cup Guide here, alongside our ITV Racing Tips, with Newmarket and Haydock joining Ascot to make up the terrestrial action. We’ve gone through the cards and found three horses at massive odds that we think can out-run their prices, take a look now!

2.30pm Haydock – New Day Dawn (Best Priced 12/1)

The first of our big-priced horses comes from our ITV Racing Tips in the shape of Tom Dascombe’s New Day Dawn. She left behind a modest debut when running out an impressive winner over seven furlongs at this venue in July. She made all the running and remains completely unexposed, with connections going well at present. She should have plenty more to offer upped a furlong in distance and looks massively overpriced.

4.00pm Ascot – Tangled (Best Priced 25/1)

Although below his best this year, Richard Hannon’s Tangled did shape with much more promise when sixth at Glorious Goodwood seven days ago. He’s fallen to a very dangerous mark on the pick of his two-year-old form, which included a third place in Group 3 company. Josie Gordon has been drawn to ride which is an obvious positive and he looks sure to out-run his massive price.

4.25pm Chelmsford – Spanish History (Best Priced 50/1)

Tipped at a huge 66/1, three-year-old winner Spanish History hasn’t lived up the promise he showed last year in two runs this campaign. He’s pulled far too hard on both occasions, with the tongue-tie now going on. He’s dropped to a very dangerous mark and a return to anything near his best from last year would give him massive claims.
