3 Outsiders Who Could Make You Rich at Ffos Las

It’s the final myracing sponsored card of 2018 this afternoon, ending the year at Ffos Las. There are a number of informative races on the card, a pair of hurdles early in the day that look like throwing up some smart prospects as well as a bumper where plenty on paper look like making up into decent horses down the line. That makes it a card to keep in mind later in the season, with every race today covered runner by runner in our Ffos Las tips.

12.35pm – Colmers Hill – Best Price 16/1

Yet to get his head in front but he’s a horse who tends to do the best of his work when fresh. He was placed last December at Fontwell off a mark of 99, able to run from eight pounds lower just eleven months down the line. He stays this trip strongly and relishes deep ground, looking just the type of grinder who excels at this track. His yard have had a winner, a second and three thirds in their last nine runners with Matt Griffiths in the plate who has three winners in his last four rides here at Ffos Las.

2.15pm – Leskinfere – Best Price 12/1

Backed into favourite on his seasonal return at Carlisle on his first run after a wind op. He didn’t travel all that smoothly on that occasion, connections reaching for cheekpieces today, striking as the type that could well improve for the fitting of headgear. He has experience in a point to point so the move to chase fences looks another positive for him. He chased home a pair of fair recruits in his sole point run, which makes this handicap mark of 112 look workable.

2.50pm – Rocco – Best Price 11/1

Faced a stiff task at the weights in a novice event at Cheltenham in October, the three in front of him all rated higher. The third has filled the same spot in a Grade 3 since, Rocco giving that rival four pounds there but only beaten a length and a half. A mark of 130 looks within reach on his handicap debut, meeting lesser horses now, with only the exception of Penn Lane who could be well treated. He stays this trip and has a point win on yielding so shouldn’t be concerned with conditions. He should make the frame at the very least.
