3.10 York – Laugh A Minute 22/1 – 5 places

Irish raider shaped well on both starts at York when previously trained by Roger Varian. This is his ideal trip, running his best race of the season last time out when only beaten a length. He is versatile with regards to the ground and has been competitive at a much higher level in the past.

3.35 Newmarket – Vis A Vis 40/1 – 6 places

Two runs this season have been a long way below his best but that provides punters with a big price to aim at. He missed sixteen months so he was entitled to need those runs. Back in 2018, he ran a massive race in this contest, finishing fourth from a seven-pound higher mark. That was on good to firm but he has plenty of form on softer in the past. The Neil Mulholland yard are in sparkling form so it wouldn’t be the biggest surprise to see this gelding bounce back to his best.

4.55 York – Music Seeker 30/1 – 4 places

A course and distance winner last season on soft ground from a pound lower, he has a win and two places in his last four visits to York. Those three runs are all in the top five RPR’s of his career so he clearly enjoys his days out on the Knavesmire. He ran poorly last week but a return to his favourite track should perk him back up.
