28/1 Friday Acca Smashed In!! KABOOM!

What a smashing day at myracing on a fantastic Friday which sets us up for the weekend.

Our Evening Win Accumulator at 28/1 had three strongly fancied horses tipped in Wiff Waff, Captain Joy and Amazour, and they all came home for a massive win.

The brilliantly named Wiff Waff had been gelded after his last run, and kept over 5 furlongs on the All Weather he made easy headway through the field to run out a comfortable winner.

He was swiftly followed just 15 minutes later by Captain Joy, who picked up the running well over a furlong clear before being ridden clear by Pat Smullen and at that point he was never being passed. The drift to 7/2 was a nice bonus and set us up perfectly for the last leg.

We had to wait just another 15 minutes for Amazour to run in the Conditions Stakes at Newcastle, where his main danger was Brittanic at similar odds. He glided through the field though before being asked for his effort by Ben Curtis and showing impressive speed to pull clear of the other three runners and put the race to bed.

The day had already started well with a winning NAP tipped 5/4 as Windsor Avenue destroyed his rivals. The money came throughout the day, seeing Brian Ellison’s 6 year old start the race at odds of just 4/7, and he won readily by nearly 10 lengths! What a performance.
