Who Won For Us?

LEG #1 – We had to sweat a bit with the first leg TREACHEROUS (4/1)! After the 40/1 outsider Global Academy had his own way up front, he went 5 lengths clear 2f out and the chasing pack had it all to do. Thankfully he was just caught in time, the closers headed by our selection were finishing fast and late and Treacherous finished the best of them all showing a blistering turn of speed. He’s stuck his neck out and just got up on the line.

LEG #2 – That meant we were waiting on our Next Best MERCHANT OF VENICE (9/4) to land the Double. In the end he gave us no real cause for concern (at least compared to the first leg) and got the job done for us in good style, winning his third race of his career in just four starts! He travelled well all the way and found a gap between the two leaders at the time down the straight to take the lead. The others closed on him approaching the finish but he had already done enough and the 12/1 Double win was secured!
