10.11pm Crayford Race Preview 23/09/2017

Greyhound Syndicate

Inches away from getting round in front last week, Nuka is back to action tonight, live on RPGTV. She was backed off the boards on that occasion so backers will be out to recoup tonight. Our greyhound tips will be live between 5-6pm, our preview is below for Nuka’s race tonight.

10.11pm Crayford 23rd September A4 grade

Shirl Tel Franki – Did connections proud in this grade in August, winning the A5 Owners Bonus Series Final worth £500. She only has mid 3.60’s early which suggests she will find it harder getting on the bunny so early here, but she still needs to be respected.

Pretend Times – Another dual winner in August, she landed A5 and A4 back to back, but without going quicker than 23.95. That is as quick as she has gone in sixteen starts here so although she has the early pace to lead up the inside, she needs to find something to hold these off.

World Cup Willy – Climbed the grades well in the spring, but his lack of early pace has stopped him progressing any further. He has done the majority of his racing of late over 6 bends and will need trouble in front if he is to pick these up.

Kelva Elvis – Won four on the bounce in mid summer, he has found himself struggling a little since when in much deeper. He is another who has done a lot of his running of late over 6 bends, struggling to break 3.70 sectionals over this trip, he will need luck to play a part.

Newlawn Marian – Has enjoyed a good time of things, climbing her way up from bottom grade in June. She lacks any early pace which will always be a problem when she gets this high but she stays well. She is a regular in the 23.90’s but that shouldn’t be good enough to win this.

Droopys Nuka – Very unlucky last week inches away from going round in front. There was plenty of money left in the satchels there, backed into an 1/1 favourite. She has bundles of early, especially when drawn in stripes and with no early to clear in 4 and 5, she has another outstanding chance to hit the first bend in front.

Conclusion

Nuka has a great chance to lead up in this contest with very little early to clear on her inside. She boasts some of the strongest form in the line-up and from a perfect draw in 6, it would be no surprise to see her sent off a very short priced favourite once more. The 1 was twice a scorer in this grade back in August, she has half a chance of leading up the inside, if she can lead the 2 then she is the main danger to Nuka in the field.
