Dubai World Cup preview: Major contenders, odds, trends and an 8/1 tip

It’s very hard to look past John Gosden’s son of Frankel WEEKENDER, with this well-bred sort very difficult to beat if building on his latest Group 3 third at Sandown. He did too much too soon after being taken on for the lead, going for home a long way out but still sticking on well for third ahead of Time To Study. This galloping track should play to his strengths and true summer ground is another major plus. After only eight runs, further improvement is expected and he looks tough to beat.
