'A bog wouldn't be too soft' - Three heavy ground horses at Haydock on Wednesday

This looks between two on paper, with the first being Group 1 winner Hydrangea, who sets the standard on ratings. She certainly has the class, but her best form has come over further and she does look a shade vulnerable to a speedier one late on, such as ALJAZZI. She was second in this race twelve months ago, winning a Group 3 subsequently at Sandown. She made a very promising return when third to Addeybb at the same venue in April and back at this course with ideal conditions, she can defeat the aforementioned rival with a strong late surge.
