Jamie Snowden is quickly becoming a trainer to follow and Epic West was an easy winner on his first start under rules at Carlisle. A 7lb penalty isn’t expected to cause him too many problems and he looks well set to follow up here.

Crazierthandaisy showed some fair form in bumpers and managed to win one at Plumpton in April. Nicky Henderson’s mare appeared to need the run when second in a novice hurdle at Uttoxeter last time and there’s every chance she can go one better here.
Karoline Banbou produced some rock-solid form in French bumpers, especially when winning a Grade 3 at Durtal in November of last year. She has since joined the all-conquering Willie Mullins yard and is therefore hard to overlook.

Hugos New Horse won five times over hurdles as a novice, which led to him having a hefty enough handicap rating last term. Paul Nicholls’ gelding has dropped to an attractive mark of 123 now and most of the yard’s runners tend to improve when going over fences.

Answer To Kayf was a useful novice hurdler last term and ran a cracker to finish fourth in the Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. He was hampered when fourth on chase debut at Fairyhouse and is expected to improve for the run.
Henrietta Knight recently earned her first success since returning to the training ranks and Educator looks like an interesting recruit over hurdles. He was rated as high as 93 at the peak of his powers on the Flat and it would be no surprise if making the frame here.

No Risk Des Flos is now down to a mark of 126, which is 8lb lower than his last winning one. He had no chance when bumping into a subsequent Grade 1 winner on seasonal debut at Stratford and a similar effort should put him bang in the mix.

Whynotnowroy was victorious on his final start for Kieran Burke and bumped into one when second on his first start for this yard at Fontwell when last seen. Improvement is anticipated here and this looks like a good opportunity to get his head front once again.
Easy Love ran well for a long way on her debut under rules in a Ffos Las bumper last month, before getting tired in the closing stages. She’s an Irish point winner who should improve for the run and Anthony Honeyball tends to do well in this sphere.
