Irish trainer sends one horse on the 900-mile round trip to Carlisle on Sunday

Stillwater Cove is likely to gain plenty of attention for Joel Rosario and Wesley Ward, scrambling home to win over the extended four furlongs on debut at Keeneland. She’s now up in distance and her stamina is far from guaranteed, with it interesting to note Ward is yet to have a two-year-old winner at a trip beyond five furlongs. Preference is for Aidan O’Brien’s FAIRYLAND, who has won both her starts, including a Listed race at the Curragh last time. The third was narrowly denied in the Norfolk Stakes yesterday and she sets the form standard on that effort. She’s likely to have plenty more to offer and over a stiff six furlongs, she should prove tough to stop.
