He’ll be expected to follow up here on the evidence of that victory, which came five days ago. The jury is out on whether or not the drop back to a mile will suit, having scored over 1m1f last time, but there’s every chance he can take full advantage of his 4lb bonus here.

Richard Fahey’s colt has won two of his last three starts, runs off a mark of 69 here and is due to go up a further 4lb. This fact suggests now should be a good time to catch him. Well clear of the third last time out, this looks like a good opportunity to go one better. There are no guarantees in this game but it’s hard to look past this significant weight advantage.
