Verni makes his chasing debut late in his life, but he is still lightly raced for one of his age. He was runner-up in the Martin Pipe at the Festival last season but acts well on deep ground as well. Le Rocher is unbeaten over fences so far in three starts. He has to give away plenty of weight all round but still needs respect.
