4.05pm Wolverhampton Tips & Betting Preview 31/03/2016

IN SUMMARY: Only four runners line up for this 3yo handicap but it features an interesting rematch between Aguerooo and KINGSLEY KLARION (5/2), who fought out a finish over today’s trip at Lingfield last month. Aguerooo managed to reel in Mark Johnston’s front-runner on that occasion and has also won over 5f since then, but Kingsley Klarion is 5lb better off this time and gets the vote. Further spice is added by He’s A Dreamer, who has joined David O’Meara since winning a maiden for David Simcock in January and makes his handicap debut here.

1 Aguerooo – Five wins since fitted with cheekpieces and switched to handicaps in December, the latest in small-field 5f event at Lingfield this month; certainly wasn’t disgraced when down the field on AW Championship day back there recently, is proven over 6f and might still be improving.

2 Kingsley Klarion – Four wins from eight AW starts since the autumn and ran a big race from the front when close second to Aguerooo at Lingfield (6f) on latest outing seven weeks ago; 5lb better off with that rival today and may gave his revenge.

3 He’s A Dreamer – Delivered on earlier promise when making all in 6f Lingfield maiden for David Simcock in January, his fourth start; joined David O’Meara for 20,000gns the following month and is open to any amount of further progress in handicaps for new stable.

4 Florencio – Won his maiden at Brighton (5.2f, good to soft) last summer and ended 2yo season with narrow nursery success at Chelmsford (6f) in October; could easily have more to offer if fully revved up after 168-day break but reappears in a hot little race.

myracing Forecast Prices: 2/1 Kingsley Klarion, 9/4 Aguerooo, He’s A Dreamer, 7/1 Florencio
