20/1 Acca Winner!

Wednesday 29th May was a day to remember here at MRT, with the Daily NAP and Next Best continuing in fine form, with 5 of the last 7 of the former and 7 of the last 8 of the latter winning. A run of 10 winning tips from 14, plus 2 places in the middle on the afternoon was brilliant. Ending the day with 20/1 winner on our Accumulator Tips was the icing on the cake!

How We Did It

LEG #1 – Kylie Rules (NAP – 7/4) – Having won her previous three starts over the course and distance, the fact Kylie Rules returned to Beverley just 3lbs higher than her latest win left us in bullish mood about her chances. She duly obliged with a very smooth success by just under four lengths.

LEG #2 – Present Ranger (10/11) – The Skelton brothers were in no mood for messing at Warwick as they made it two from two on the night with Present Ranger. Setting out in the lead from flag fall, there was never a moments doubt as he stretched clear after three flights from home and cruised to a nine length victory.

LEG #3 – Alltimegold (1/2) – A very strong favourite, Alltimegold had three plus years on all his rivals and being the only progressive horse in the field, his task was relatively simple. Young 5lb claimer Connor Brace clearly thought the same while riding him as he oozed confidence throughout, not even asking his mount for a full effort by winning cosily on the bridle. One and a half lengths was the official margin at the line, but in truth it was by any amount he wished.

LEG #4 – Global Domination (7/4) – Last but not least, we were relying on that man Harry Skelton in the saddle once again, this time riding for Caroline Bailey. Jumping slickly, if a little right throughout, Global Domination eased clear at the beginning of the home straight and was in command the whole way up the run in, making the 7/4 starting price look an absolute gift!
