Mark Johnston’s filly disappointed in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot last month, but her second-place finish to the high-class Calyx prior to that run is by far the strongest piece of form in this race. She looks the one to beat today, possibly at the expense of Solesmes, who arrives here with a bit to prove after a disappointing run at Haydock on Thursday but represents the powerful Mick Channon and Silvestre De Sousa Trainer/Jockey combination.
