A tough 2m under the floodlights tonight and one or two nice horses will be on show in the hope they can take this en-route to some bigger staying handicaps later on in the AW season.

IN SUMMARY: Sakhra and Social Media have good each-way chances judged on their best form especially the latter if he gets a good toe into the race and market vibes would be a positive. Lorelei has a big chance if ready to go after 4 months off and is a big player but DELAGOA BAY was impressive last time out and has a good chance of making it 2 in a row.

1 Crystalise – Finished 10^th off 11 at big odds 24 days ago and still a maiden after 4 runs. Makes her Tapeta debut tonight and hard to fancy even on best form.

2 Lorelei – Has won over this C&D before, scoring easily by 5 lengths back in April in a similar event. 4^th on last start at Chelmsford and has been off for 131 days. Up in trip on re-appearance and is a big player on best form.

3 Delagoa Bay – Course winner who produced a career-best when winning a 13 runner Handicap event at Kempton cosily by 2 lengths just 18 days ago. Two wins over the same distance in the summer and trainer remains in good form and should continue to improve. Big chance of following up.

4 Smoky Hill – Won a Hands & Heels event in June easily by 10 lengths but that was over 1m3f. Only 8^th in a 14 runner Handicap at Kempton over 1m4f 24 days ago. Significantly up in trip for Tapeta debut and if showing best form can run into a place.

5 Tarakkom – Finished last behind Delagoa Bay at Kempton back in June finishing tamely that day. Last win came at Chepstow in May, winning by a short head in a similar event over 2m. Shown nothing since and an absence of 150 days to overcome. Hard to fancy.

6 Lineman – Won over 1m4f here back in February 2014 by 21/4 lengths but has had 22 runs since then without showing the same form. Only 6^th of 7 when last seen at Nottingham in August and big ask on re-appearance.

7 Lacey – Won over 2m here in a similar event last October and only 4 runs since. 12^th of 13 here 35 days ago over the same distance and others look more likely on this occasion.

8 Hier Encore – 2 second place finishes in 6 runs this year and only finished 8^th of 9 on last start at Kempton. Hard to fancy his chances tonight.

9 Nightswift – Makes his Tapeta and Handicap debut tonight and lightly-raced maiden tackling this trip for the first time. Hasn’t shown much in 5 runs for the yard and something to find on form.

10 Graceful Lady – Pulled up in a Handicap at Chelmsford in October and sill a maiden after 8 runs. Makes her Tapeta debut and will find it tough against the boys.

11 Sakhra – 37 runs on the flat and remains a maiden. Finished 3^rd of 13 in a Handicap here over 2m 35 days ago. Solid each-way chance.

12 Social Media – Lightly-raced maiden who finished 6^th of 11 in a Redcar Handicap on good-to-soft over 1m6f 18 days ago. Didn’t get the run of the race and upped in trip may have more to offer today.

13 Dream Serenade – Only 8^th of 10 in Handicap at Catterick 25 days ago dropping away tamely. Hard to fancy on Tapeta debut.
