7.40pm Kempton Tips & Betting Preview 04/10/2017

7.40pm Kempton tips for Wednesday’s Class 3 contest raced over 1m for three-year-olds and above. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: This is a competitive handicap and GOSSIPING gets the vote. Gary Moore’s runner does well here and a 2lb drop in the weights may underestimate what he’s capable of. Don’t Give Up needs to improve following a disappointing run last time out, whilst Brilliant Vanguard should run a fine race in search of a four-timer.

1 BELGIAN BILL – Solid handicapper for this level, but he’s not been at his best lately and he may be off to spend another winter in Dubai. Stall 12 makes life difficult and others make more appeal on these terms.

2 MANSON – Has been pulled from more races than he’s raced in this year, but he wasn’t beaten all that far at Chelmsford in a stronger event than this back in August and he has claims on that form. James Doyle is an interesting booking and one to keep onside.

3 BIG BAZ – Has failed to get his head in front since completing a double back in 2015. He’s slipped a fair way down the weights since then and, whilst he ran with credit last time out, he still doesn’t look particularly well handicapped.

4 MR BOSSY BOOTS – The yard are without a winner from their last 16 runners and that poor streak looks set to continue. He has been beaten a fair way lately, but he’s still fairly handicapped on his form earlier over last winter and can’t be entirely discounted.

5 EARLY MORNING – Finished second off an 8lb higher mark earlier this season, however he’s failed to fire recently. The switch back to the All-Weather may help having won twice in four starts on the surface and Adam Kirby is a positive booking for the yard.

6 GOSSIPING – Has displayed rapid improvement this season, shooting up from a mark of 65 to 96 recently. He’s down a couple of pounds here and he’s an interesting contender from stall four, with conditions in his favour. He could be overpriced in this.

7 BRIGILADORO – Arrives here on the back of a success at Yarmouth last time out and he’s only been raised a pound for that success. He often runs well whilst finding one too good and that could be the same story today. Best watched.

8 BRILLIANT VANGUARD – Kevin Ryan’s runner arrives here in search of a four-timer following some impressive improvement. He’s 4lbs higher than his last winning mark, but he’s more than up to this grade and he should make another bold bid for an in-form yard.

9 REPLENISH – James Fanshawe’s runner looks up against it on these terms based on recent efforts. He’s been lightly campaigned this summer, which is a small surprise, and he may find himself outclassed with a few nicer sorts in opposition.

10 DON’T GIVE UP – Saeed bin Suroor’s son of Dubawi makes his fifth career start today. He won a 1m 2f contest at Windsor back in August and he’s stepped back in trip following a fruitless attempt on Soft ground last time out. Cheekpieces are applied for the first time and he’s well drawn in stall two.

11 EAGLE CREEK – Needs to do more to prove that he’s well handicapped off a mark of 95. He’s well treated against older rivals in this, but he still looks high enough in the weights based on his best form and others make more appeal.

12 OMRAN – Marco Botti’s runner is tried over a mile for the second time today, although he is yet to prove that he’s suited to this trip. He’s been beaten a long way on his last three starts and he’s opposed in this strong field.

13 KENTUCKYCONNECTION – Once raced in the 2000 Guineas behind Galileo Gold, but he’s still only won once from 15 starts and he’s up against it on these terms. Stall six is a fine draw, but he’s yet to prove that he’s ready to strike and his younger rivals are better weighted.

14 SULTAN BAYBARS – Lightly raced son of Invicible Spirit, he’s won just once in his career. That came at this track over 7f but he’s not gone on as well as connections may have hoped. A mark of 91 looks high, but David Egan does claim a useful 3lbs off his back. Interesting.
