6.20pm Hamilton Tips & Betting Preview 24/09/2016

IN SUMMARY: Tamayuz Magic comes into the race in good form and is only 2lb higher for his latest win. However, LARA CARBONARA‘s 2 wins have both come at Hamilton and her latest flop at Ripon can be forgiven as 2m really stretched her. Back in distance, this is the perfect chance for her to notch up another victory. Cotillion could be interesting coming back to this code on a career low mark so isn’t discounted entirely.

1 TAMAYUZ MAGIC – Won on his latest start at Thirsk in soft conditions over a 1m4f trip, just holding on from a charging rival. Tries this new trip now, 2lb higher for that effort but he is clearly in good heart needs to be given plenty of respect.

2 AZZIR – Won on penultimate start at Pontefract over 1m2f and then was a poor 3rd latest at Ayr (1m2f, Soft). Was staying on in that effort though so this new trip could well suit, but he’d probably prefer good ground so the forecast soft is a concern.

3 GLEESE THE DEVIL – Won 3 starts ago at York over a 2m trip in October last year but has been easily held on both his starts this year. Needs to raise his game and probably will need a longer trip to do himself justice.

4 LARA CARBONARA – Both her wins have come at this venue and at this trip also. Latest win came back in June and had been stringing together some consistent efforts in the main since then. Latest effort at Ripon can be discounted as she was stretched by the trip and she may very well return to winning ways back at her preferred distance.

5 ONLY ORSENFOOLSIES – Has finished stone dead last 4 races running and efforts before then have been just as bad. His last respectable effort came in October last year and its obvious his head really isn’t in the game. Well handicapped as a consequence but best watched.

6 FALCON’S FIRE – Held in his hat-trick bid latest at Ayr (1m3f, Soft) but wasn’t disgraced there and the two wins before that were good efforts. Could well have more to give so dangerous to discount.

7 COTILLION – Has done most of his winning over hurdles and latest flat runs haven’t been very inspiring. However he is on a career low mark and judged on previous efforts he could be dangerous if sparking into life.
