3.40pm Kempton Tips & Betting Preview 21/11/2016

The final race of an afternoon of Jumps at Kempton is a 2m Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle where several come into the race in good form. See our full race preview and betting tips below.

IN SUMMARY: Iniciar, Midtech Valentine and HERONS HEIR are all last time out winners and all have huge claims, but preference is for the latter. He was always doing enough when accounting for Satanic Beat latest and is very lightly raced for his age, and should be up to shouldering a 3lb rise. The Skelton Team are in good form and Bridget Andrews should be able to steer him to a 5th career victory. Un Prophete also has Each Way claims after underwhleming last season, but should have improved over the summer break.

1 INCIAR – Won very easily indeed at Worcester last time out (2m, Good), not exactly proving to be the easiest of rides on occasions. Has been slapped with a 12lb rise for that and although he may be good enough to shake it off, he gives away a lot of wait to other in form rivals. Respected nonetheless.

2 SATANTIC BEAT – Has been on a good mark for a while now and has threatened without putting his head in front on many occasions in recent times. He pushed Herons Heir hard latest at this venue (2m, Good) when a very awkward jump at the last scuppered his chance of winning. Should run well again and is slightly better off with that rival but is very hard to win with, his last victory now over a year ago.

3 HERONS HEIR – Always doing enough when beating Satanic Beat latest at this venue (2m, Good), his fourth victory of a lightly raced career thus far for the inform Skelton Team. He’s up 3lb for that effort but he should be up to shouldering that and Bridget Andrews can steer him to a 5th career victory.

4 MIDTECH VALENTINE – Pushed out to success when a pretty cosy winner at Fontwell latest (2m3f, Good). That was his reappearance and he should have come on from that run and the drop back to 2m shouldn’t be much of a problem. Has to be considered a huge danger to the selection.

5 GLOBAL THRILL – Couldn’t quicken and well held when last seen at Ffos Las (1m7f, Good) back in May. Was very underwhelming in general last season and may well need this run to open the pipes so probably best left alone today.

6 UN PROPHETE – Pretty disappointing last season, not really building on some promise in earlier runs and last seen when 3rd and held at Newton Abbot back in April where he made the running (2m, Soft). There isn’t really any other pace angles in the race so that is a plus and he is surely better than his efforts last season, as he was a 3 time winner on the flat in France. Each way claims for sure.

7 BROTHER BENNETT – Didn’t really show much last season except for one placed effort at this venue back in March (2m, Good). Returned with a poor effort at Lingfield a few weeks ago (2m, Good) and doesn’t make much appeal today.

myracing Forecast Prices: 2/1 Iniciar, 11/4 Herons Heir, 3/1 Midtech Valentine, 6/1 Satanic Beat, 17/2 Un Prophete, 12/1 Innoko, 14/1 Global Thrill, 33/1 Brother Bennett
