Our race preview takes a look at a largely uninspiring handicap at Yarmouth. Our betting tips finds the value in an unexposed type how can capitalize on a very poor race.

IN SUMMARY: Lady Of Yue is running okay of late and takes a huge drop in grade today. However she hasn’t won since 2014 and the suggestion is for THEYDON BOIS. She bounced to form when 2nd latest and although she’s upped in trip and its not guaranteed she will stay, she’s half sister to a 2m 2f winner so its probable she will.

1 LADY OF YUE – Hasn’t been running well lately and takes a huge drop in class for todays race. Last time she ran over 2m was at Ascot in May (16f, Good to Firm) where she finished a decent 3rd place in Class 4 Company. That form reads very solid in the context of this race. What doesn’t read well is the fact she hasn’t won since 2014, that is a big concern.

2 THEYDON BOIS – Bounced back to form when finishing 2nd at Leicester over 1m 4f latest (12f, Good). The fact she couldn’t quicken towards the finish reads well in terms of staying this trip and pedigree suggests that she will most likely see this trip out. Unexposed at this distance obviously so therefore poses a big threat.

3 WHAT A PARTY – Has been below form, most recently here in June (11.5f, Good to Firm) and was behind Theydon Bois that time as well. Had posted some good efforts before on the AW and Turf before that though at various distances between 10f and 16f, so not entirely discounted.

4 LA FRITILLAIRE – Very inconsistent and not really one to rely on. Was 3rd at Nottingham last month (14f, Good to Firm) but then looked very laboured at Chelmsford on the 19th (16f, AW). Couldn’t back her her due to the inconsistency of her form.

5 SAKHRA – Stays this trip but thats about the only positive that can be drawn. She is a 32 race maiden and has been well beaten on her last 6 starts at various distances at 12f+. Can’t recommend.

6 OPUS TOO – Like Sakhra she will stay this trip but that’s about the only positive once again. Well held on every start this year and record now has gone to 0-20, which really doesn’t look good. Has top claimer on board and runs for an inform yard, but I doubt that will make much difference.
