.40pm Lingfield Tips & Betting Preview 29/11/2016

Nine go to post for this Mare’s Novices Hurdle where the jumping of several of these will be tested over 2m on the forecast Heavy ground. Read on for our experts’ thoughts and betting tips.

IN SUMMARY: Champagne To Go would have a chance if being able to put his last couple of runs behind her. Westerbee is interesting on her earlier 2nd at Worcester but this can be left to POISONED BERRY who won readily at Exeter last time out and can be expected to defy her penalty here under her talented conditional rider who has been in fine form recently.

Poisoned Berry – Won a Bumper at Worcester in August staying on to win by 1 ½ lengths. 2 fair runs since then but resumed winning ways last time out at Exeter when readily scoring by 11 lengths on only her 3rd start over hurdles. She was impressive that day and should go close to following up under a penalty.

Champagne To Go – Won a Point in Ireland and scored on debut in a Bumper at Wetherby in April, staying on nicely to win by 6 lengths. Mediocre couple of runs since including only 6th of 7 at Uttoxeter on seasonal re-appearance 9 days ago. Can be forgiven last run but needs to bounce back quickly here.

Daytime Ahead – Only modest form in Bumpers earlier this Spring and only 5th of 9 in a Maiden Hurdle at Uttoxeter when last seen in May. Well beaten that day and others look stronger in the context of this race.

Goodtoseeyabuddy – Half-sister to useful Chaser Freeze Up but poor form in a couple of Irish Points so far and best watched on first start for new yard who like to have winner’s here.

Kristal Hart – Has a couple of wins on the AW at Chelmsford to her name in the last year but those came in a lowly grade. Only 5th of 13 in a Maiden Hurdle at Wincanton 12 days ago and that was a fair enough introduction. Market vibes will be a positive here with the yard going well. Each-way claims.

Movie Magic – Only modest form on the flat when trained by John Bridger and makes debut today after 9 months off. Hard to know what to expect after such a long lay-off and can be overlooked for now.

Sue Be It – Has an interesting pedigree and related to a few winners but looks regressive based on 3 Bumper runs so far this year and hard to fancy for this.

Supreme Performer – Previously trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies and showed only fair form in a couple of Bumpers there. First run for new yard today and has been off the track for over 2 years so plenty to prove today.

Westerbee – Won here on her first start last year on the AW getting up to win cosily that day by 3 ¼ lengths. Fair form since but turned in a good 2nd on Hurdles debut at Worcester in May. Hasn’t recaptured that but interesting judged on earlier 2nd and open to improvement if learning to settle better.
