1.05pm Fakenham Tips & Betting Preview 15/11/2016

The opener on Fakenham’s card is an interesting 2m 4f Selling Hurdle. Many of these are out of form and need to bounce back, so see our betting tips and full preview below for an in depth look into all the runners.

IN SUMMARY: Debt To Society was well held when bidding for a hat-trick latest and could be tapped for toe if this race gets tactical, and therefore the selection is ACAJOU DES BIEFFES. Although disappointing the last twice, this return to 2m4f should suit and if bouncing back he should well be in the shake-up come the finish.

1 JONAGOLD – New headgear goes on and has quite a bit to prove after two poor efforts at Newton Abbot and Sedgefield latest (2m4f, Good to Soft). Probably would prefer the ground faster which is a concern and is top weight, but if bouncing back to his efforts in September he would have a good chance of taking this.

2 DEBT TO SOCIETY – Well held in his bid for a hat trick at Sedgefield over much further in better company (3m3f, Good). Dropping back to this trip doesn’t necessarily seem like it will suit and may well be tapped for toe if the race turns tactical. However he does have the most solid claims and should be in the shake-up.

3 ACAJOU DES BIEFFES – Has been disappointing the last twice but should appreciate going back to 2m4f as he won at this trip back in June at Uttoxeter (2m4f, Good). If bouncing back he has a huge chance to take this and has David Noonan taking off a handy 3lb to help further.

4 LE LEGRO – Has very patchy form over hurdles, evidenced by his latest flop at Ffofs Las (2m4f, Good). However he does have claims on his penultimate 2nd at Worcester (2m4f, Good) and should have a part to play if managing to get back to form, which isn’t assured at all. Place chances.

5 TAROUM – Very poor over fences latest when nearly 92 lengths last of 4 at Lingfield (2m4f, Good to Firm). Does have form claims however including a decent 3rd at Chepstow back in October (2m3f, Good to Soft) and could easily bounce back, but place claims only today.

6 THEFRIENDLYGRELIM – Has really struggled since his breakthrough win back in June at Uttoxeter (2m4f, Good), tailing off or pulling up on 4 starts since. A long, long way out of the weights today and no claims to this.

7 MONZINO – Has been very poor under all codes this year and returns to hurdles a long way out of the weights, no chance.
