Ten Carat Harry is unbeaten in four starts on the all-weather and he completed his hat-trick over course and distance last time out. A 2lb rise shouldn’t be too damaging to his chances and he’s one to keep on side until his limitations are exposed.

Ralph Beckett’s Paradise Walk is a half-sister to a Group 2 winner and she was denied by the narrowest of margins on debut at Chelmsford last month. She’s entitled to step forward on just her second start here but probably doesn’t need to in order to win this.
Raveena has a smart pedigree and she ran a cracker to finish second on her return after a break at Newcastle last month and a repeat performance might be enough here. This isn’t the deepest of novice races and the drop in trip can help her too.

Sir Maxi looks very well treated on his best form and his most recent success came off a 9lb higher mark at Chelmsford in March. Sam England’s gelding ran well enough when fourth at Newcastle last time and better is expected off a 1lb lower mark here.
Mollstar makes her handicap debut here and there was lots to like about most recent display at Wolverhampton. Finishing third that day, she was only beaten by a length and handicaps are likely to facilitate more improvement.

Hale End returned after a short break at Newcastle last month and kept on well to finish third. The handicapper has dropped him 1lb since and the five-year-old is back down to his last winning mark. A return to winning ways could be on the cards.
Dust Cover struggled badly in his first five starts but the penny dropped over course and distance last time out. Ross Burdon’s three-year-old clearly appreciated the step up in trip and further progress is anticipated, despite a 5lb rise.
Rosieisme Darling showed little in three starts over 6f in novice company but a drop in trip combined with a switch to handicaps made a big difference at Wolverhampton last month. She finished second and could go one better if building on that effort here.
Justcallmepete is in the midst of a purple patch at the moment and has won his last two starts, the most recent of which came over course and distance. A 3lb rise doesn’t seem too outrageous and he’s one to keep on side for now.
