Trainer who landed 136-1 treble at Lingfield on Saturday sends 1 runner there on Tuesday

Lingfield Park Racecourse

With Ludlow falling to the cold weather, we have just a pair of All-Weather meetings to look forward to on Tuesday. Lingfield hosts the afternoon action, before Wolverhampton takes over in the evening.

Despite the small selection, we’ll have horse racing tips for both meetings. That includes a NAP of the Day and Accumulator tips!

While digging through the Tuesday trends, I found a very interesting statistic involving a trainer at Lingfield. He’s already enjoyed a strong year at the venue and he has just one runner there on Tuesday! Find out all the details below.

136/1 Saturday Success!

Simon Dow had a remarkable day at Lingfield on Saturday, with three of his four runners returning to the winner’s enclosure. At prices of 5/1, 9/4 and 6/1, the treble paid a whopping 136/1!

Based in Epsom, Dow has started the year very strongly and will be hoping it continues on Tuesday. He’ll be aiming to make his sole entry count and there’s every chance he does just that, as the three-year-old looks to have an excellent chance.

G’wan the Grey!

A daughter of Markaz, Twentysharesofgrey is yet to strike in seven racecourse visits for Dow. That being said, she finished second on three occasions at Kempton in 2020. Beaten just half a length at that venue on her second handicap start, all of her runners-up efforts have come over the seven-furlong distance.

Most recently, she cruised into a nursery contest and looked the likely winner heading to the furlong pole. She didn’t quite go through with her effort, however, and she flattened out in the dying strides.

Dropping back to six furlongs, on that evidence, will really suit this beautiful grey. Lingfield is a sharp venue and this twelve-runner field should give her the pace she needs to be surging up the straight.

Beyond the first three in the market, this isn’t a strongest contest, and she’ll struggle to find a better opportunity than this to be shedding her maiden tag.
