2.20 Windsor

Hayley Turner is a very capable rider in the saddle and she is particularly good in a large-field handicap. With that in mind, it is interesting that she will take the ride on the Scott Dixon runner, Country Charm. Backed from 20-1 into 9-1 in places overnight and into this morning, connections must be expecting a bold showing. 11-1 is available with bet365 at the time of writing this article.

Country Charm was a huge eye-catcher at Wolverhampton last time out. She did way too much too soon from a wide draw, using up a lot of energy early on in the race to try to get a handy prominent position, and she was badly hampered. The filly should have no such worries this time around coming out of gate two at Windsor.

Placed off a mark of 63 on turf last year, she is now running off a modest rating of just 47 so it is fair to say she is extremely well handicapped. She is far from a prolific winner but conditions look spot on for her today and she should run a big race.
