Saturday TV Stats – 235/1 Cracker Acca

Trends Analysis: Saturday 31st Aug 2019

Three out of four winners for the ‘Cracker Acca’ selections last Saturday so let’s see if we can go one better this weekend!

This Saturday the ITV cameras are off to Chester, Sandown and Beverley to take in seven races across the three venues.

Up at Beverley the William Hill Beverley Bullet Sprint Stakes is their feature – a race that nine of the last thirteen winners came between stalls 1-4.

Sandown’s card is headlined by the Group Three Betway Solario Stakes and with trainer John Gosden having won five of the last seventeen runnings then anything he runs should be noted.

Away from the TV cards we’ve also afternoon action at Wolverhampton and Newton Abbot, while the evening racing is provided by Lingfield and Chelmsford.

We’ll be highlighting our TOP FOUR trends to look for from the ITV Racing and putting them in a big-priced ‘Cracker Acca’ – plus, giving you the ‘best of the rest’ trends from around the other tracks this Saturday.

Plus – don’t forget, you can also get more help finding the winner for all this Saturday’s races on our Free Horse Racing Tips page.

TV Stats ‘235/1 Cracker Acca’

(Pays £2,350 for a £10 stake)

2.05 Beverley: With a decent 32% record with their three-year-olds at Beverley then the William Haggas-trained DESERT ICON looks to have a big chance here. The softer ground is a bit of an unknown but this son of Sea The Stars has won over further so his proven stamina will be a plus. The in-form Danny Tudhope riding is the icing on the cake.

2.10 Chester: OH THIS IS US loves Chester and he loves this race – he won it last year. This Richard Hannon-trained six-year-old has form figures at the track that read 1-1-2 and is also three pounds lower than when landing this prize twelve months ago.

3.00 Sandown: The Group Three Atalanta Stakes has gone to the Sir Michael Stoute yard three times since 2012 and in JUBILOSO they hold a strong hand again. This three-year-old is the top-rated in the field and will certainly benefit from stepping back up to a mile after finding seven furlongs a bit of the short side last time out at Goodwood.

7.15 Chelmsford: The Simon Crisford-trained CENOTAPH won this race last year and looks primed to go well again. Draw two is a plus and this seven-year-old is only a pound higher than twelve months ago. Top jockey – Ryan Moore, who was also did the steering last year, gets the leg-up again.
