Saturday ITV Outsiders: Adrian takes on Native Trail with a 40-1 long shot 😱

Native Trail Superlative

We are in for another stellar weekend of horse racing action and the feature on Saturday has to be the Irish 2,000 Guineas at the Curragh Racecourse. We will also have action live from York Racecourse, Haydock Racecourse and Goodwood Racecourse.

Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing Outsider bets and he thinks these four runners are all overpriced. Best of luck if you follow and remember, always gamble responsibly.

2.55 York

Michael Dods’ sprinters have started off the season in excellent form and Jawwaal (9/1) is another runner who can put in a bold bit. He wasn’t at his best behind runaway winner Fine Wine here at York 9 days ago but has hit the crossbar at York on several occasions now and is well treated on the pick of his form.

3.10 Haydock

Ever Given (14/1) won a valuable sales race at York last year when trained by Tom Dascombe and he couldn’t have got this campaign off to a better start, landing a big gamble at Chester’s May Meeting and bolting up in the process off a mark of 97. This is obviously a lot tougher but this speedball is flying fit and is not to be underestimated.

3.20 Curragh

Native Trail should win this doing handstands if ratings are to be believed, but at that price he has to be taken on. A chance is taken on Dermot Weld’s Duke De Sessa (40/1), who won his maiden over this course and distance and was not disgraced behind potential Derby winner in waiting Stone Age over further at Leopardstown when last seen.

3.45 Haydock

Arecibo (25/1) is a very quirky individual who needs things to drop right for him and he will be waited with early. If there is a pace collapse, nothing will be finishing their race off faster than this lad. He was second in the King’s Stand last year and was in need of the run in the Palace House last time. Big each way contender.
