Saturday all-weather Lucky 15 could return £73k for 25p each-way stake

Racing at Cheltenham has been called off on Saturday as the track is currently waterlogged in places. January is always a horrible month for national hunt lovers. The weather gods are usually always against us but with that in mind, we do have two lovely all-weather cards to look forward to. We have our sights set on cards at Kempton and Lingfield. Adrian Wall has picked out four outsiders to form an each-way Lucky 15. At the time of posting, it returns over £73,000 for a 25p each-way unit stake with William Hill if all four runners win.

12.00 Lingfield

Roman Spinner is drawn widest of all in stall ten which is far from ideal but over 1m 2f it might not be too big a deal. The mare won here off a mark of 72 in the past and is now running off 9lb lower. She looked in need of a step up in trip when a never nearer 4th at Lingfield over a mile latest so she is interesting upped to 10f for the first time.

14.00 Kempton

Vibrance returns to the Flat for trainer James Fanshawe after a spin over hurdles last month. Sent off 5-1, she failed to land a blow at Fakenham and she will much prefer the sharp right-hand bends of Kempton. Her record around here reads 4-2-1-1-1-3-1-3 and Benoit de la Sayette is a highly promising seven pound claimer.

14.35 Kempton

Aced It is having his first run for the Camilla Poulton stable after a 134-day break. A former inmate of the Joseph O’Brien stable in Ireland, he takes a big step up in distance on stable debut. He has bits and pieces of form that would make him a major player in this, most notably when 4th at Galway off 72 last July.

16.05 Lingfield

It’s A Love Thing seems to have been running races with handicaps in mind and the gelding finally runs in his first handicap here. Adam Kirby is a top booking who loves it around Lingfield, a course where he can dictate the pace from up top. Stepped up to a mile for the first time, this is a very interesting lightly raced runner.
