Rising star who’s 4/7 at Brighton in 2021 has one ride on Tuesday

A ten furlong Seller from Brighton on the 7/8/19

Five meetings make up the days racing on Tuesday, with Wolverhampton and Pontefract the two afternoon cards. Roscommon, Brighton and Uttoxeter make up the evening fare and we’ll have horse racing tips for all the action.

While trawling through the statistics, one at Brighton stood out about Grace McEntee. The rising star has a 57% strike-rate at Brighton in 2021, which equates to a very healthy profit of £19.50 to level stakes. She has one strong chance on Tuesday and it’s a 5-1 chance, find out all the details and analysis below.

6.35 Brighton – bet365 Fillies’ Handicap

Although the vast majority of her wins have come on the All-Weather, Lets Go Lucky (NON RUNNER) does have form on the turf and she’s actually unexposed on the surface. She’s raced just five times on the grass, most recently in Jersey two weeks ago.

She disappointed that day, but she can perhaps can be forgiven that effort, and she was second over course and distance back in April. That was in a lower grade than today, but it was still a pleasing performance and she’s subsequently placed off a mark of 56 on the All-Weather.

Grace McEntee, unlike in Jersey, is able to claim five pounds today and that could make all the difference. She’s effectively racing off a mark of 51 and although this is a higher grade than what she’s used to facing, it’s far from competitive and she’s an obvious contender.

8.35 Brighton – Bet Builder At bet365 Handicap

Arriving on the back of a good run of form, Secret To Success will look to continue that sequence back on the turf. She was only beaten by an enterprisingly-ridden winner at Yarmouth three weeks ago and subsequently made amends by scoring with something to spare at Wolverhampton.

Raised six pounds for that success, she came within a neck of going back to back at Kempton last time. That effort can be upgraded, as she was the only horse in the finish who had raced up with a strong early gallop.

A two-pound rise at the weights is negated by Grace taking over and this is just her third turf start. Returning to six furlongs will likely suit and this is just her ninth overall start too. The best should be yet to come and it’s no surprise to see her short in the betting.
