Holy Roman Emperor filly with a lovely pedigree and this stable’s newcomers are always worth noting in the betting. Big player, particularly if the money comes for her.
The fitting of first-time blinkers worked the oracle on latest and taking advantage of a falling mark down in grade, and he still looks feasibly treated on last year’s form. The one to beat.
Bit of an Ascot specialist and arrives here on the back of an excellent second behind talented stablemate Zeus Olympios in the Group 2 Summer Mile Stakes there a fortnight ago. This is much easier.
Got off the mark this term here at this track over the mile in June before chasing home a progressive sort over C&D just nine days ago. No issues with this trip and should be bang there again.
Ran one of her better races when third over 5f at Beverley in June and although not near that level last time, perhaps the fitting of a new headgear combination will help from a very workable mark.
Won twice around this course last year albeit in the mud, but won on fast ground at Catterick last time when well-backed and should be a tough nut to crack again.

Situated in West Yorkshire, racing first took place in 1648 and remains Flat only. Traditionally the afternoon fixtures didn’t begin until 2.45pm so that miners at the adjacent colliery could finish the morning shift in time to go racing. But in 2002 the colliery shut down so this is no longer the case.
Course: The emphasis is very much on stamina for our tips here as the two mile circuit has a steep final three furlongs which is stiff and takes plenty of getting.
Draw Bias: No major bias to consider, however if our tips are drawn near the rail and are fast starters, this can be an advantage particularly over shorter distances.
