Another day closer to the Cheltenham Festival and there is an excellent card in prospect at Doncaster on Wednesday. Paddy Brennan has had seven winners in his last twenty-one rides, a flying 33% strike rate. He heads to the Yorkshire track for just a single ride on Wednesday, a course that always makes the ears prick up when he visits.

Doncaster has been a happy hunting ground for Brennan. A 19% strike rate at the track in his career for a level stakes profit of £74.33. He has a strike rate of 27% when just chases are taken into consideration for a +£41.88 and it’s a chaser that he heads north for.
