Partnership with 75% strike-rate in the last two weeks has one Monday runner 🤝

Newcastle Racecourse - Beware The Bear and Sean Bowen

Another week of racing kicks off on Monday and we have three meetings to look forward too. Plumpton is the feature meeting, with the Sussex venue hosting a seven-race jumps card. We also have All-Weather action from Chelmsford and Wolverhampton, with the latter hosting an evening card.

We’ll have horse racing tips for all three, including a NAP of the Day. One partnership who have been excelling in recent weeks is Sean Bowen and Harry Fry. When they’ve teamed up in the last two weeks, they’ve meant business, with three winners from four total runners. They partner up again on Monday for just one runner; find all the details below!

When it comes to bumpers, Harry Fry’s yard is one to follow. In the last five years, they’ve sent out 130 bumper runners, with 26 of them returning home as winners. That’s a very healthy 20% strike-rate and it’s not often you find a debutant with a pedigree quite like Fairy Gem.

A daughter of Shantou, she cost 20,000 euros as a foal and is a full sister to the incredibly smart Angels Breath. That horse was a dual Grade 2 winner over obstacles and she’s also a sister to Outofthisworld, also trained by Fry, who won her bumper debut in these colours back in 2017.

Those with form in this contest do not set a daunting standard and she wouldn’t even need to be above average to take this. The booking of Sean Bowen, given their recent strike-rate, has to be noted, and she looks set to be a very useful prospect for these connections.
