There’s big money come in overnight for 4 horses – at least two of which have links to the legendary Barney Curley – and all ridden by Shane Kelly:
1.40pm Southwell – Feeltherhythm 5/1
5.25pm Kempton – Seven Summits 7/2
5.55pm Kempton – Miss Phillyjinks 4/1
7.55pm Kempton – Highwayman 3/1

The bookmakers have reacted strongly, with one bookmaker going as far as to slash their prices to Evens on all 4 runners, another reverting the last two races to SP betting only and a third refusing to take any multiples (trebles, Lucky 15, etc) involving these horses.
The biggest mover is Seven Summits – trained by Sophie Leech – who opened as large as 16/1 with three bookmakers last night. He was involved in the infamous Barney Curley gamble back in January 2014, and his best price is now 7/2. This is his first run on the Flat since May 2013 and he’s been completely out of form since April 2014 in his 8 hurdles runs. He was rated as high as 9 on the flat at the start of his career and was trained by Barney Curley from 2011 to 2013.
Feeltherhythm – trained by Des Donovan is the first of Shane Kelly’s rides that runs today and is available at a massive range of prices, from 1/1 to 5/1. Tissue prices with national newspapers were as large as 14/1 although the largest price available last night was 8/1. He ran poorly here at Southwell last time but was much better at Kempton on his previous start and would have a chance on paper from that run. There’s an obvious link to Seven Summits with Des Donovan training previous gambled winners with links to Barney Curley.
Highwayman – trained by William Jarvis – is the one of the best backed horses of the day opening at 16/1 and now being 3/1 best price. He’s a handicap debutante who had average form at big prices and now makes his All Weather debut down in class.
Miss Phillyjinks – trained by Paul D’Arcy opened at 8/1 last night and is now 4/1 best price, but is in much better form having dead heated a Class 6 Wolves race last time out and finished 2nd in a Maiden two weeks before that, and has chances on paper.
