Finding winners is never an easy task but there are a number of techniques which can work. Horses aren’t machines and often tend to perform better at certain tracks than others. There are meetings from Musselburgh, Southwell, Chelmsford and Wolverhampton on Tuesday. With this in mind, we’ve selected one runner from each of Britain’s four meetings with unbeaten records at their respective tracks. The four horses in question combine into a tasty accumulator. Al Zaraqaan (4-5, bet365) has flourished since going chasing and is unbeaten in three starts over the larger obstacles. The form of his latest win has been boosted by the second who won on Sunday. His penultimate victory came over course and distance and which is his only start at the track to date. It’s likely that the handicapper will catch up soon but he could win again before that happens.
Indication Spirit (9-4, bet365) got off the mark at just the second time of asking over course and distance last time out. Karl Burke’s charge ran a solid race on debut at Hamilton to finish second before that. She makes her handicap debut off a reasonable mark here and there should be plenty more to come.
Magic Gem (3-1, bet365) ran a cracker to win over course and distance last time out, on what was his first start for 480 days. That victory came in a low grade and he returns to handicap company here. He’s entitled to improve significantly for the run and would have a cracking chance if doing so.
Nuthatch (11-4, bet365) scored narrowly over course and distance on just her second ever start back in February. Jamie Osborne’s filly was only just denied in a handicap at Goodwood last time out and a repeat of that effort off the same mark here could well be enough.
