As usual we got our free greyhound selections onsite at 5.30pm. After some big winners already this year, including a 52/1 Mega Acca & 35/1 Win Acca among many more, it’s hardly surprising that our Greyhound Tips have developed a very loyal fanbase and Easter Monday could only have grown the fanclub as we landed a HUGE 50/1 Mega Acca, 8/1 Win Acca, NAP & NB!
The first leg of our Mega Acca, Calzaghe Bradley WON at 7/4. He took a page out of boxer’s Joe book by coming with an irresistible charge to floor the field late-on. The dream began….albeit a distant one!
Leg Two of our Mega was also the opening Leg in our Win Acca with the well fancied Sporting Dave taken to go and win his race which he did with real ease, again like Calzaghe Bradley breezing by them on the turn for home to score a facile success and draw blood for both acca’s!
The next leg of the Mega Acca was down to Millhouse Tommy who skipped away to win nicely and set up a grand stand finish to both the Win Acca & Mega Acca with just our NAP & NB needed to land both.
The penultimate leg of both acca’s was entrusted to the NB, Slippy Maska. The selection broke fine but showed little or no early pace before really hitting top stride on the bend on the second bend and turned on the afterburners to go clear of the field and wasn’t for catching. ON TO THE NAP!
All we needed was the NAP….Heroic Miss was drawn in trap 1 and while some of our followers were nervous because of the 6 dog, we felt with a a good break we could get the lead and stay there. That was exactly what happened as Heroic Miss flew the lids and repelled all comers to land our 50/1 & 8/1 Acca’ – GET IN!
