Catterick course lovers: Three track specialists form 54-1 accumulator on Monday 🐎

Catterick Racecourse

Catterick can be an awkward track as it’s sharp and undulating. There’s also a bias towards horses who race prominently. With that in mind, Liam Bramall has picked out three horses with excellent course form who are running on Monday and they form a tantalising 54-1 treble. 1.30 Catterick

Langholm (7-4, William Hill) improved from his seasonal debut to win over 7f at Thirsk last time out. More importantly, he has a record of a win and a second in just four starts at Catterick. He also has an impressive record over 7f having been in the first three in five of his nine starts at the trip. Langholm made all last time and if he makes the running again the track bias should play into his hands.

2.30 Catterick

Mokaman (4-1, William Hill) has a particularly enviable record at Catterick with two wins and a second in just four starts. He won here off an 8lb higher mark last summer so he should be able to cope with the 3lb rise he received for winning at Musselburgh last time out. As Mokaman is also a front runner, he should go close here.

3.30 Catterick

Redrosezorro (3-1, William Hill) bumped into one over course and distance on his last start. The eight-year-old is a regular here with 21 starts under his belt. He has six wins and nine places to his name from those starts and there’s every reason to expect another big effort off the same mark. Being a course and distance winner off 13lb higher, this mark shouldn’t be a problem.
