Four hurdles runs at Sedgefield over this trip have resulted in form of 21P2. He’s never been the most consistent so it’s interesting that he has at least shown his form in the main here. Brian Ellison had a record of 5/11 with his hurdlers at Sedgefield last season for a level stakes profit of £4.92. That strike rate was very smart and makes this gelding of serious interest.

8.15 Newcastle – Tagovailoa

The combination of Archie Watson and Hollie Doyle have a record of 6/11 so far this year at Newcastle for a level stakes profit of £26.00. Newcastle has been Watson’s most successful all-weather track during his career with a strike rate of 23% from all his runners. Tagovailoa is his sole representative on the card on Wednesday night which makes him all the more interesting.
