36-1 acca for a yard 4/9 this year at Kempton with their three-year olds

There is a novice event at Kempton on Wednesday that was first run in 2018. Saeed bin Suroor won this race both that year and in 2019 before having the odds on favourite last year, albeit beaten. The yard are 4/9 with their three-year olds here so far this year, with all three running on Wednesday of that age group.

Two divisions of the race this year and both see bin Suroor with a runner. There are three for the yard on the card who all have strong claims to victory, an acca that is a best priced 36/1 at time of writing with bet365.

A decent day of racing on Wednesday with something for everyone. Both Fakenham and  Taunton have jump cards, Nottingham has a turf flat card and Dundalk join in with an all-weather card.

5.45 Kempton – Unibet New Instant Roulette Novice Stakes (Div I)

Great Hunter is the first runner for the yard and the shortest price. He stepped up massively on his debut effort when tearing a field apart from the front at Newcastle last time out. He has a penalty to carry here but that form is head and shoulders above his opposition.

6.15 Kempton – Unibet New Instant Roulette Novice Stakes (Div II)

Sent off favourite on his debut last November, Lone Fighter was too green to do himself justice. He still showed promise despite being beaten almost ten lengths there. He has been given plenty of time to mature and that should be a big help to him. His grand-dam was a triple Group 1 winner so there should be better to come.

Marching Army

The final runner for bin Suroor is Marching Army in a handicap. He looked to need all of the eleven furlongs here last time out to get on top so the step up to this slightly longer trip should be a big plus for him. He’s five pounds higher but that should be within his capabilities.
