Monster £1,023 Double WINS On Monday

Monday blues? What Monday blues? A day that was meant to be a quiet affair on paper turned into an unbelievable day as we smashed in an absolutely monstrous double, which returned a staggering £1,023! People who follow our doubles’ will know these are not a rare occurrence as we made huge profit in the last quarter of 2016 on the bet too. How We Did It

The 4.15pm at Southwell was the scene of our first victory, Schottische. Tipped up at 16/1, we felt that the Alan Bailey inmate was vastly overpriced. He was 2nd over the course and distance off a mark of 51 last time out and although he was running off a two pound higher mark today, David Parkes took off five pounds so technically he was running off a three pound lower mark. He had a good draw in Stall 2 and took full advantage, bolting up and returning at an SP of 20/1! BOOM! What a start!

About six minutes later, the second leg of our double got under way at Plumpton and he was really well backed. Tom Cannon took the ride on Bol D’Air for the Chris Gordon yard, and we were really confident as he was smashed from 8/1 into 11/4 favourite before the off. Tom left him bowl along in front and he inched out some reign half a mile from home to stretch the field and was never for catching. Another wide margin winner and the place went MENTAL!! KERCHINNGGGGG!
