The Pertemps Final takes place on the 16th of March 2017 at Cheltenham Festival. It is a unique handicap hurdle in that only horses who have qualified for the race are allowed to enter.

Just because a horse qualifies for the Pertemps Final, it isn’t guaranteed a run. The maximum field size is 24, and with 20 qualifying races between the UK, Ireland and France – and six horses qualifying from each – up to 120 horses could technically be eligible to run. Therefore, priority is given to horses with the highest handicap mark, and the horses with the top 24 marks are allowed to run.
As the complete line up for the Final is only confirmed at the end of February, our tips will be up the week before Cheltenham Festival. However, we have previewed all the main runners on our Pertemps Final tips page to help you find some antepost value!
